What is the purpose of the ride?
Raising Money for Youth Mental Health Programs
The 2026 Tour de NAMI will have two full-time riders going from San Francisco to San Diego: Cork Snider and Rick Burns. They are veterans of long-distance rides. They are also veterans of helping organizations raise money through their efforts.
NAMI OC is partnering with the two riders to raise money and awareness for mental health programs in our local schools.
The 8-day adventure will raise money for youth and young adult mental health programs. These programs are already in place in many area high schools. For example, there are around 20 NAMI clubs in Orange County high schools.
